Oxygen production has been started at Damauli Hospital in Tanahu district headquarters. Oxygen production has been started from the completed plant in the hospital. “The work of installing the oxygen plant at the hospital had started eight months ago. As the installation has finished, oxygen production has started,” said Damauli Hospital Management Committee Chairperson Pradipraj Adhikari, adding that installation of the oxygen plant was possible with the assistance of the province government. The bed is connected through an oxygen pipeline produced by the plant. “The pipeline has been extended so that oxygen can reach every bed,” he said. According to hospital medical superintendent Dr Sunil Poudel, the plant was installed at a cost of around 5.3 million rupees.
